Purpose of TMA: The primary purpose of TMA is to assess learners’ knowledge, comprehension, and application of the concepts covered in the NIOS curriculum. I
Subject Coverage: TMAs are provided for each subject in the NIOS curriculum. They cover a range of topics and concepts as outlined in the study materials. Learners are required to complete TMAs for each subject they are enrolled in.
Assignment Structure: TMAs consist of a set of questions or tasks that assess different aspects of the subject matter. The structure of the assignments may vary based on the subject and level of study.
Submission and Evaluation: Learners are required to complete the TMAs within the given timeframe as specified by NIOS. The completed assignments need to be submitted to the designated study centre or regional centre for evaluation, and students also can submit TMAs online on their own.
Weightage and Grading: TMAs carry a certain weightage in the overall assessment process. The marks obtained in the TMAs contribute to the final grades awarded in the NIOS examinations.
